Dining table with cast iron underframe and English elm top.

The unique base of this table was rescued from the Massey Ferguson tractor factory in Coventry. It was the base of a workbench involved in the maintenance of the factory. The beautiful top is made from 2 inches thick English elm from a tree over 120 years old.
The split heart of the tree has been cut out and stainless steel pins inserted to hold the top together. The edge of the top has been left with the natural wavy edge with just the bark removed.
The table very comfortably sits 6.
The top is sized 1920mm long and 1060mm wide.
